The Web3 ecosystem has evolved in the past few years with immense growth in the level of innovations being deployed into the space. These innovations are specifically designed with the goal to improve web3 UX (user expereince), drive fast adoption and accelerated growth trends.

The NFT marketplace has increasingly attracted the attention of designers and creators into this sector for a variety of reasons. The most successful NFTs have been projects developed by Crypto Punks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Azukis, Penguins and many more. These projects have evolved to be a benchmark for talented creators in the sector exploring means to generate income and to lead art inspirations.

However, one of the major barriers to entry into the NFT project collection space is the ability to reproduce at least 5,000 — 10,000 units of NFT art tokens, which requires the process of reproducing 10,000 units of unique art. This process is considered time consuming and an extraneous endeavor depending on who you ask. If you do not have programming expereince to auto-generate arts its more streneous endeavor. However there are new tools out there that can help new digital creators increase the number of generative arts without the need to have a programming background.

This article aims to guide you on how to auto-generate your digital arts to at least 10,000+ units without the having programming experience.

How to Use Nifty Generators

To recreate your arts, follow through these steps:

STEP 1

Start by breaking your 2D or 3D digital art design into layers. This will aid in creating multiple customizable versions of the same art.

Understand that an NFT is a container that holds a unique set of data. The container is assigned a secret hash, and this hash is an encrypted string of letters and numbers which acts as a label. The label acts as its identifier and provides directions to its home in a giant accounting ledger known as the blockchain.

The layers of an NFTs are mostly divided into headwear, background color, hair, body and outfit. However, this layer is determined by your character arc and how you want the art descriptive metadata to be shaped.

Next, we move these different design layers into folders in the format illustrated in the image below:

Next, we use Nifty Generator and submit the folder created. Note that each folder uploaded will display as a project, and any changes you make will be autosaved. This allows you to begin working on something and then return to it later.

STEP 2:

In this step, we focus on populating the descriptive data of the NFT collection. To fill the art metadata of the project, the following data are required:

  • How will each art be named in the project
  • What is the description of your collection
  • What is the name of this Collection
  • What is the family of the Collection(If available as its optional)
  • How much royalties creator receive for secondary sales, in basis points
  • What is the symbol of the nft collection
  • How should royalties be split
  • What is the external url for this collection

STEP 3

Next, we proceed to order the Layers. The order of the layers specifies how the assets will be piled up. On the first layer, we have the Face; on the second layer we have Outfit and on the bottom layer we have the Background. The image below illustrates how the layers should be ordered.

STEP 4

In this step, we define the Rarity, which essentially involves us deciding how rare or common each trait’s variant is.

In this stage you will match each nft character trait to form a full image. You can do these matching selection automatically or manually. The nft characters should be merged after selection each image trait to each other. After crossing your “t’s” and dotting your “i’s” you can then press the continue button so you can have the final copy of your autogerated nft digital arts. Which you can then publish on whatever marketplace of your choice.

CONCLUSION

At the end of this article, you should be able to auto generate NFTs without writing a single line of code. By following this step-by-step guide the process is quite simple and easy to get going. The tool we utilized is the Nifty Generator tool, and this can be accessed by going through the link.
